SUSTEIN REBAR

Developed at Maplad's research centers, the new FRP Rebar combines performance and sustainability. The bar is made with natural fibers and Bio-Resins, or high bio-carbon content, which can drastically reduce the carbon foot print compared to traditional GFRP Rebars and especially compared to steel. Despite the use of innovative materials, the mechanical performance is found to be 30% higher than bars made with glass fibers.
